Mission Brewery El Conquistador Extra Pale Ale
Mission Brewery’s Pale Ale is a 4.8% ABV Session Ale. Which is good because I drank it after I had those KCCO Black Lager’s we chatted about earlier. It had a husky taste out of the bottle. You can really taste the grains so to speak. Not in a great way either. It tastes like pale ale with a hint of Yakima Valley dirt on the edge of the glass. True Story.
This is a really light pale ale. Almost too light. Some lemon comes out in the flavor but I didn’t get any of the watermelon taste mentioned on the label. It’s a San Diego beer so I can imagine this being pretty refreshing sitting around a campfire on the beach, but sitting in front of the T.V. watching Rehab Addict on HGTv just doesn’t have the same appeal.
